Dear Brethren and Scholars of Freemasonry,

Please notify your lodge, friends, and students of this upcoming event!

On Tuesday, March 19th from 7-8 pm (PST), Adam Kendall, collections manager for the Henry W. Coil Library & Museum of Freemasonry and vice president of the Masonic Library & Museum Association, will present a webinar entitled “Invoking the Muses: Understanding and Appreciating Masonic Material Culture.”

This presentation, previously given at the Philalethes Semi-Annual Conference, the Masonic Restoration Foundation Symposium, the Grand Lodge of British Columbia’s Grand Masonic Day Symposium, as well as several California lodges, provides a historical overview of the aesthetics of Masonic decorative arts and their essential role within the research of Freemasonry and fraternalism. Special mention will be given to the process of creating meaningful narratives for lodge histories and the display of Masonic artifacts.
